Bonus evidence are items found in missions that can be recorded with the smartphone.

Description[edit | edit source]

Recording bonus evidence.

Bonus evidence exists throughout Redacre and the Maze. They consist of objects TBC members can record to further prove all the weird things happening in Redacre. These objects are typically red in color and are sometimes hidden out of sight. The number of bonus evidence items in a mission will vary. For each bonus evidence item collected, players will receive an additional 15XP at the completion of the mission (before the Team Multiplier). Bonus evidence items are usually related to CHORUS in some way.

Bonus evidence items will spawn in various locations throughout the game. Some locations spawn bonus evidence more consistently than others. Bonus evidence is denoted by its distinct TV-static overlay like evidence recorded during missions. The player needs to be close enough to the object to see the TV-static effect for the bonus evidence to be successfully recorded - usually within a few feet. Once recorded, the object will make a bright flash, the overlay will disappear, and a notification will appear informing the player the evidence was recorded. This notification also includes how many bonus evidence items have been recorded out of the total number of bonus evidence items in the current mission.

Types of Bonus Evidence[edit | edit source]

There are many types of bonus evidence items that exist in missions. Bonus evidence items can appear throughout the map in various locations and positions. It's common to find the same item multiple times in a single mission throughout houses, outside, and in the maze.

The laptop will always be sitting upright with the screen open.

BonusEvidence Poster2.gif Poster

There are two poster designs. On the surface, the poster is usually a report for a missing person. In the Maze, it's a juvenile offender report showing a picture of a TBC member on the streets of Redacre. Both are printed by CHORUS Communities.

The poster is often found on the tree by Hoadly's Leap, among other locations on the surface and in the Maze.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The smallest number of bonus evidence items in a mission is 3; the largest is 22.
  • Each page collected during the Recover the CHORUS Binder objective counts as one bonus evidence item. Players are led to the page locations by Dax's damaged drone after the drone is repaired.
