The Airway is a location in the Maze.
Description[ | ]
The Airway is a long dark hallway made out of wood, shaped like a triangle. The pathway is mostly dark, save for soft green lights scaling the sides of the wall. The hallway is the main pathway from the Nerve Center to Dream Therapy, but there is an opening on one side that allows access to String Relay B. By climbing and jumping, a player is also able to gain access to the Airway catwalk from an opening from String Relay B. On the side closer to Nerve Center, there is a bathroom with crude stalls and squat toilets, as well as a hole that leads back to the lower level of the Nerve Center.
Instrumental music can be heard playing throughout the Airway. This sound comes through the holes in the floor. When a player is targeted by the Shape, the music will lower in pitch and tempo to sound very muddy and dark.
There is a Red Door on the catwalk on top of the Airway.

Trivia[ | ]
- There was not always a Red Door on the Airway catwalk. A Red Door was added in a patch in after players mentioned in the TBC Discord about using the rafters to hide from the Shape who could not access that spot.
