Old Growth Daycare Center is a collection of three buildings in Old Growth, Redacre.

Description

Old Growth, also known as the Old Growth Daycare Center, is a set of buildings located in Old Growth (Region) that serve as a daycare center for the children and infants of Redacre. The daycare center consists of three separate buildings:

• Classroom A
• The Offices
• Classroom B and Nursery

The three buildings are connected by a rooftop covering that can also be climbed onto. A fenced-in playground can be found behind the Offices. There is a Firework Station on the rooftop of Classroom A. The parking lot has a car and an Animal Control Truck in it. Every access point on the surface to Old Growth Daycare Center is locked; players can kick open doors or use a Lockpick to open doors and gratings. Inside the Offices, the Counselor's Office and the Main Office are always locked. The lights throughout the three buildings cannot be turned off unlike the lights in houses down the street.

Both classrooms contain hidden areas with mysterious musical equipment and monitors streaming footage of the Maze.

There are numerous Red Doors and hatches: a hatch in the corner of the parking lot near Lower East Hoadly, a hatch to the right of the Old Growth sign, a hatch across the street from Classroom A, a hatch on the other side of the fence adjacent to the playground, a door across Classroom B near the Old Growth wooded area, and several red doors in the basement.

Underneath Classroom A and the Offices is the sub-basement that connects the two buildings to the Maze. The sub-basement can be accessed by entering the basements of either building and passing through the hidden door. This secret door can be interacted with and opened like a regular door. This sub-basement connects to the upper level of Nerve Center and is accessed from a short tunnel opposite the Red Door near the Instrument console.

Before the Old Growth area was released, THEE-I-DARE said it was a nursery that was closed to the public, but was open during his time, suggesting that perhaps it was being remodeled. It has been learned when adoption routes are not fruitful, CHORUS Communities takes up full time care of children at such centers.
