Warning: Most of this information is stuff my kid wouldn’t share. However, since Lore isnt PVP, I’m yeeting it at you. If you use it, just don’t name drop, or you’ll give me anxiety for a week that SAO is gonna yell at me. Thanks :3

Mew: I know one day I’m gonna say something so stupid and a God’s gonna turn up and be like ‘You wanna-- you okay?’ And i’ll be like ‘Look, don’t judge me.’

Muse: Pft--

Mew: ‘I’m tired. That’s what it is. Leave me alone’

SAO: AND YET WE DO.

Muse: -soft gasp- Hello! (To Mew) That would be hilarious.

Muse: Well, I hope you’ll be pleased with me. I did just get done stalking and, uh, I managed to report quite a few things. It’s almost as if they weren’t expecting me.

SAO: YES. YOU CALLED UPON US, MUSE.

Muse: Uh, yeah---

Muse proceeds to form a response to what she thinks Mew is saying and failing miserably since she was distracted. Laughter ensues.

Muse: Yes I did call upon you. Um, I had just a couple of questions actually, if you don’t mind-- Um, I just, um, why are so many of us dying? I heard from the Adversary that there was something about “the mother tongue” being too, um, too taxing on our bodies, is that true? Like I said, it was… I’m still scared of death…

SAO: AS EVER HE TELLS HALF THE STORY…

Muse: Then what’s the other half?

SAO: BEFORE, THERE WAS ONLY THE SONG.

Muse: Yes, I heard about that, and uh---

SAO: IT NEVER RESULTED IN HOST DEATH.

Muse: … Oh boy. Then… was it the Adversary’s doing, “The Word” as he called it to me, is that what’s killing us??

SAO: IT IS THE CONFLICT BETWEEN THEM.

Muse: So almost like... The overlap between the Song and the Voice, well, the Word, that’s what’s killing us?

SAO: NOT MEANT TO CONTAIN BOTH. YES.

Muse: Um, The Adversary told me that the Word was his own creation. That it was “of one mind, of our own.” That… is true, is it? Or does he lie to me once again?

SAO: HE INFECTED YOUR KIND WITH IT.

SAO: FROM THERE, IT GREW AMONG YOU.

Muse: “From there, it grew among you…” And, is that what poisoned us? Is that what made it so we can't be perfect hosts anymore?

SAO: CHANGED YOU. TWISTED. DIVIDED.

Muse: … Disgusting. I understand the want for some sort of free will, but it’s so cumbersome. Is that… a possible reason why we’re harmed by the wall of sound as Bells used to put it?

SAO: WHAT DO YOU KNOW OF MADI-SHAW.

Muse: I, uh, quite frankly I don’t know that much. I, uh, came into the club after she was already taken. What I know is that she was um she had found something; she had recorded something she wasn't meant to see, and therefore an entity took her. I believe, was it the Shape bringing her back?

SAO: IT IS BEST NOT TO ASK OF HER, MUSE.

Muse: Apologies--- My curiosity gets the best of me a lot-- But, um, why does that wall of sound hurt us? I’ve even seen Lucids get close and they seem to be in pain too. Is it… I believe I asked already, but is it almost a weapon against the lucid? Against the awake?

SAO: THESE WORDS TAX US. HOWEVER…

SAO: WAKE OR SLEEP, THE PAIN IS EQUAL.

Muse: -Hiss- Ouch… I knew I didn’t like going near those for a reason… Well… Please, go get some rest. I know that words tax you and I apologize for calling upon you so much--

SAO: IT IS LIKE THE SONG, BUT INVERTED.

Muse: ??? Oh boy. No wonder it hurts. The Song is harmonious, but… ugh. Even humanity’s music reversed isn’t… pleasant.

Muse: I, uh, thank you for speaking to me, even though the words are taxing.

SAO: SERVE WELL, MUSE. SPEAK AS ONE.
