New Features & Updates

  • Microphone Test in Hideout - can make sure your microphone input is detected and sounds OK before submitting any audio when you close your eyes to sacrifice a Light of Rebellion
  • Support for 8 new DLCs - you can read about these in the Store pages
  • Prestige (Devotion) System - over time, as you sacrifice more XP, you will receive special prestige iconography next to your username. You will also unlock new character customizations.
  • New Mission: Pajama Party - unlocks at Level 6, more challenging at Level 12
  • Dream Journal! - new update to the Journal Menu lets you listen to old dream messages you've received. (NOTE: Due to their live nature, Dreams are not localized. These are in English only. We apologize for the inconvenience. If anyone reading this would be interested in starting a Guide to help translate these for other players as new dreams come out, we are all for it! Try reaching out to the community here on our Discord or the Steam forums if you need help finding resources about the Dreams.)
  • Allowing players carrying bodies to open and unlock doors.
  • Allowing players carrying bodies to drop bodies at the top of ladders from below.
  • Sacrificed XP numbers show up in Sacrifice Menu, see which Voice you've favored the most

Bug Fixes / Iteration

  • Spamming left stick click on a controller will no longer toggle sprint
  • Made threat indicators toggle-able in options
  • Fix for stalker getting infinite sprint when joining Dance Fever in progress
  • Fix for stalker hearing relays completed audio when relay mission is finished
  • Updated UI to show Dead and Suppressed states in team panel.
  • fix for lighting up player from smartphone
  • fixed up UI feedback when showing whether dead OR suppressed
  • Cylinder/Ragdoll Mismatch causes body carry problems
  • Bought some photography lessons for the club member who sends you the mission photo at the beginning of quests
  • potential fix for fog particle issue on ps4, added vfx to blocker detonate on AI

  • Fixed a case where AI Blocked/Not Moving for no apparent reason (due to a door issue)
  • Invisible sound wall fix for maze entrance under 1001 Hoadley (so you're not heard where you shouldn't be heard)
  • The changed Shape no longer gets magical knowledge of player locations when crimes are reported
  • Stalker can no longer pick up eggs
  • A reward is now granted for sacrificing certain amounts of XP
  • AIs are no longer sometimes discovered immediately when tranquilized
  • Stalkers can no longer carry bodies
  • Items are no longer sometimes used up without any effect when grabbed by an enemy (finally!)
  • An exploit to spawn endless numbers of enemies is no longer possible
  • cosmetic polish to opening reward containers
  • Slow down the speed at which a body can be picked up and dropped again
  • Fix for bad camera placement at exits (some will be too dark now, but shouldn't be clipping)
  • made rewards spawn in on delay to prevent overlap with fanfare
  • fix for a case where you could get the wrong incon for a quest item on the player panel
  • fix to power icon colors
  • fix for toggling screenshot mode and dead/suppressed icon visibility
  • created a one-shot of the tazer zap sfx we can use whenever player escapes a grapple with the taser. Currently according to this bug this escape has no SFX so it sounds like a silent tase, but now it should sound like a zap.
  • small tweak to the stun gun one-shot sfx to make it a bit quicker and a tiny bit louder.
  • Fix for an issue where a Lucid could become aware of you from very far away, sometimes across the map
  • fixed guitar sound not playing on clients (AI can still hear it if they're close)
  • prevented dropping items if suppressed or dead via inventory screen
